Post Office doesn't keep posted hours

For some time now (a few years) I've been having trouble with the U.S. Post office in Jarreau, LA (70749) Opening late and closing early. I already think the hours there (7:30-12 & 1-4) are ridiculous, but they are what they are. Several times I've shown up at 7:30 and had to wait around until 7:45 for them to open up. I've also had many occassions of going there at before 4 pm and they were already closed. Today I went there at 10 minutes before 4 to mail out a care package to a soldier in Iraq. I got there and found it already closed. I looked down at my watch to confirm that the time was before 4 pm. I looked in the window to where there used to be a clock to see what the post office's time was. Awful convenient that there isn't a clock there anymore. I was now pissed and rang the service bell. I heard a voice say "Yes?" I replied that I needed to mail out a package. The voice replied that they were closed. I then said "Ma'am, it isn't 4 o'clock yet". To that the voice replied "No, it's after 4". I looked down at my watch which by now said 3:55 pm. As I walked away shaking my head I told the person behind the door "Your watch must be very fast". I immediately went home and check my watch against the U.S. Navy Atomic clock. My watch was 1 minute slow compared to that time. I immediately called the U.S. Post Office 800 number and filed a complaint. We'll see if a simple complaint will fix the problem with either their time being fast or them cutting out early.
